The studio agreement

Terms of Use

Effective date: January 1, 2025

In brief

Use the site respectfully, read class details before requesting a place, and contact us promptly when circumstances change.

1. Acceptance

By using this website, you agree to these terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Website content

Class descriptions, schedules, prices, and availability are provided for general planning and may change before confirmation. We aim for accuracy and welcome corrections.

3. Requests and payment

A cart selection is not a confirmed booking. A class becomes confirmed only after the studio communicates acceptance and any required payment terms. The demonstration checkout on this website does not process payment.

4. Cancellations

Cancellation and transfer arrangements depend on the specific class information supplied at booking. Contact the studio as early as possible so we can discuss available options.

5. Studio conduct

Visitors must follow instructor directions, use tools responsibly, keep work areas safe, and treat other participants with respect. The studio may decline participation where conduct creates a safety concern.

6. Materials and outcomes

Clay, glaze, and kiln processes involve natural variation. Cracks, color shifts, warping, or firing loss can occur and are part of the material process.

7. Intellectual property

Site text, visual design, brand elements, and original educational materials belong to FineLake Clay Studio or its licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, FineLake Clay Studio is not responsible for indirect loss arising from site interruption, inaccurate user-provided information, or ordinary material variation.

9. Changes and contact

We may revise these terms by publishing an updated version. Questions should be sent through the contact page.
