First-session compass
Questions before your hands meet clay?
1. Choose a class by level.
2. Arrive ready to experiment.
3. Leave with notes and a next step.
Do I need previous clay experience?
No. Beginner sessions start with tools, clay behavior, and a clear demonstration before you make anything.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Clay is water-based, but aprons and washable layers are useful.
Are tools and materials included?
The catalog description lists included materials. Standard studio tools are available during every class.
How are pieces fired?
The studio dries, bisque-fires, and glaze-fires eligible student work according to the class plan and kiln schedule.
Can I attend if I have limited hand mobility?
Please contact us before booking so we can discuss the room, tools, pacing, and practical adjustments.
Can children attend?
Family Clay Table is designed for mixed ages; an accompanying adult remains responsible for children during the session.
Can I cancel a class?
Review the booking terms before purchase and contact the studio as early as possible when plans change.
What happens if my piece cracks?
Clay is a material with variables. We explain likely causes, celebrate useful learning, and help you try the technique again.
How do Fallows work?
Select Save to Fallows in the catalog. The browser stores the class ID locally so you can revisit it later.
Can I arrange a private group?
Yes. Send the group size, preferred date range, and experience level through our contact page.
